Wireframes

In a free hour, when our power of choice is untrammelled and when nothing prevents our being able to do what we like best, every pleasure is to be welcomed and every pain avoided. But in certain circumstances and owing to the claims of duty or the obligations of business it will frequently occur that pleasures have to be repudiated and annoyances accepted.

User Testing

User Testing

Testing Result

Task 1: Navigation

On performing “find pet adoption organizations” task, I found it’s not intuitive to find “organization” tab on the bottom menu. Some participants prefer to find organizations by using the search bar instead button menus.

Solution

Change the color or opacity of bottom menu and add visual hierarchy to it; Change the black holder text inside the search box to indicate more on its functions.

Task 2: User Flow 1

On performing “check nearby organizations” task, participants are familiar with the ‘location/map’ icon on the top right of page. The page layout is ease to use on performing this task and no obvious error appeared.

Task 3: User Flow 2

Need more detailed pages to support the whole adoption process, such as pet’s profile page and pet’s application. Participant required for the availability for the pet and want more detailed adoption process.
